There is a lot you will discover your first few years. Out of the gate, we want to build the tools to launch with impact, land you securely on your feet, and arm you with the confidence to grow the business.

Getting to know you

Upon signing on, you will receive a simple questionnaire and follow up interview. At this stage, we will do a lean, conversational style of brand strategy to better understand your business, vision, goals, and who the audience is.

WEEK 1

Competitive research

We will conduct an audit to understand commonalities amongst the competition and identify opportunities. Successful brands don't add to the noise, they break free of it.

WEEK 2

Ideating the identity

We generate many ideas quickly (typically 50-100 sketches), refine the strongest ones, and present three unique brand directions.

Presenting concepts

Each option includes logo, color palette, and typography presented in real-world mockups so you can envision the possibilities.

WEEK 4

Finalizing the chosen one

It's normal to love the logo from Option 1, the palette from Option 2, and the tagline from Option 3. We’ll help decide what can come together and what shouldn’t. This refinement phase is a collaborative conversation to take us from 80% to 100%.

Extending the core identity

Once the core identity (logo, colors, fonts) is finalized, we can build stylescapes. Expanded visual direction, secondary assets, treatments, and messaging. Think of it as a “style guide lite” that gives a 50,000 ft. view of your brand and more goodies to work with.

The handoff

Usage guidance and design examples will be captured in the Style Guide. We will package an organized folder of all brand assets making it easy to find what is needed for print, screen use, etc.
